Calliope Gazetas is a freelance designer currently living in San Francisco. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia (1991-1995) and a Bachelor of Communication Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2002-2005).

Calliope designs custom themes for WordPress, Plone and other content management systems. She creates logos and communication materials for arts organizations and non-profits, event materials such as calendars, flyers and posters and the occasional personal art project.

In addition to web application design, she provides project management, QA, documentation and staff training services to her main client, Black Rock City LLC. She is proud to be a part of the Burning Man project.

When she is not polishing pixels, she likes to draw, paint, sew, play video games, read about birds and natural sciences, swim and bike in San Francisco.
